Running at Skyrim Nexus Mods and Community
Sup Masked, I've tried adding the ini setting to Skyrim.ini, and while the game does keep running in the background when I alt+tab (so I see the ini setting IS working) the game still pauses while I have the steam overlay open. Do you happen to know any way to keep the game running with the steam overlay open by any chance?

This is 2.5x the effective resolution of 1920x1080p. Yes, 2.5 times. If you're running your client on a 1080p screen, imagine having to also run another screen and a half. This is obviously a large part of why my starting FPS is so low, and if you are running 1080p, you will most likely have a much higher framerate than me.

First problem, when I go to start SKSE in MO, Skyrim starts up.. as a background process. The only way I can even see it is if I go into my task manager and find it, and there is no way to interact with it. I need some help obviously. Also, I haven't been in the modding community for some time- about 5 months- and I'm wondering if there were.

I hear people talking about running scripts in the background, but all I can find in the CK is to attach scripts to NPCs/Items/Etc. How do I go about running one in the background? Do I just create a script and place it in some sort of directory? Thanks in advance.

Posted April 8, 2020. There seems to be a strange relationship between SKSE SkyUI FNIS Vortex and Nexus. I have found that whenever I sign on in Vortex to Nexus and do anything (download, endorse etc) or if I disable, install etc any mod that the next time I start Skyrim the connection between SKSE and SkyUI does not work.
